Samsung UN32F6000FFXZA: platform and install notes
Operating system
Tizen
This television runs Tizen, the manufacturer's own system. CleanYourTV installs from an APK and needs Android TV, Google TV or Fire OS, so it will not run here — the page is kept because people search for these model numbers looking for exactly that answer.
Downloads
This set runs Tizen and cannot install an APK. The download page explains why, and what works instead.
What this set can run
Samsung UN32F6000FFXZA runs Tizen, a manufacturer system that does not install Android APKs. CleanYourTV cannot run on this set, and this page exists because people search for exactly this model number with exactly this question.
What does work is an HDMI device: a stick or box running Android TV, Google TV or Fire OS plugged into any HDMI port. The television becomes the screen and the device runs the apps.
How to get the app onto this screen
There is no APK path on Tizen — no file manager on the set can open one. The route is an external device:
- Connect an Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV stick or box to a free HDMI port and give it power.
- Switch the television's input to that port and complete the device's own first-run setup.
- Install CleanYourTV on the device, following that platform's guide rather than this page.
- The launcher then appears on this television whenever that input is selected.
Problems and error messages
A USB stick holding an APK will be listed by the set's media browser and then refuse to open the file: Tizen does not execute Android packages. This is not a corrupt file.
Pages that promise an APK install method for Tizen are describing an Android box connected to such a television, not software running on it.
If the HDMI device shows no picture, check that the port is enabled in the input menu and that the device has its own power supply — a powered port is not a substitute.
Using the remote
The set's remote controls Tizen and nothing else; it cannot reach an app running on an HDMI device unless HDMI-CEC is switched on.
HDMI-CEC is in the television's settings under a manufacturer-specific name (Anynet+, SIMPLINK, BRAVIA Sync and others). Once on, the set's remote can move through the connected device as well.
On the connected device the controls are the usual ones: ring to move focus, centre to select, Back to leave a screen.
