Launcher

Module (optional)
A reference module showing how a third-party app contributes a card to the launcher. It is not a per-model package: the launcher discovers modules through the standard DOCK_CARD entry point, and any app can do the same.

Install it on this set
The full walkthrough, with the four methods that work without root, is the install guide linked from this page's model section. The short version:
- Allow installs from unknown sources for the tool you will use — Settings → Security on Android TV, System → About on Google TV. The permission is per app, not global.
- Install Downloader from the Play Store, open it, and paste the APK address shown on the download page.
- Confirm the install dialog with the centre button of the remote. Play Protect may offer to scan the file; letting it scan is fine.
- Open CleanYourTV once, press Home, and pick it from the list. Choose "Always" only after checking that the apps you need are in the grid.
If it will not install
"App not installed" is usually an architecture mismatch: nearly all Android TV boxes are ARM64, a few budget sets are 32-bit ARM only, and an arm64-only build installs partway and stops. Check the ABI under Settings → About before downloading again.
"Install blocked" or a greyed-out install button means the file manager or Downloader you are using never received the unknown-sources permission. Grant it to that one app and retry.
An app that installs but never appears on the home row did not register a launcher activity that this firmware accepts. Open it once from Settings → Apps, reboot, and it is normally listed afterwards.
A black screen right after launch points at an old system build. The launcher needs Android TV 8 or newer; the version is under Settings → About.
A download that finishes but will not open was truncated in transit. Download it again rather than retrying the same file.
Why there is one package
The launcher does not vary by panel. Building a separate binary per model would produce hundreds of files with identical contents that nobody can tell apart. What the model page adds is this set's install notes, its error messages and its remote, not another binary.
