A cursor or list that drifts without touching anything has exactly two usual causes: a stuck button, or electrical interference on the remote's receiver.

1. Take the batteries out - if the drift stops, the remote is at fault
2. Clean around the D-pad with a dry brush
3. If drift continues with batteries out, the TV side is picking up interference
4. Move USB 3 devices and chargers away from the TV
5. Re-pair the remote from Settings > Remotes & Accessories
