Xbox cloud gaming runs the game on Microsoft's servers and sends video to the TV, so the box only has to decode. That makes it viable on hardware that could never run the game locally.

The Android TV client is not distributed through Google Play on televisions, so sideloading is the normal route. Pair a Bluetooth controller first: most TV remotes cannot produce the analogue input the games expect.

Latency dominates the experience. Wired ethernet beats Wi-Fi every time here, and a 5 GHz network with a weak signal is worse than a slower but stable connection.

2. Enable unknown-source installs for your file manager.
3. Sideload the cloud gaming APK and sign in with a Game Pass account.
4. Use ethernet if the box has a port; the difference is large.
