Jellyfin

Jellyfin is the community fork of Emby and is entirely free. You host the server yourself, the TV app connects over your network, and nothing leaves your house unless you expose it.

The Android TV client installs from Google Play. On boxes without Play, the project publishes a direct APK you can sideload.

So wird es installiert

1. Install Jellyfin Media Server on a computer or NAS and add libraries.
2. On the TV, install the Jellyfin app from Google Play.
3. Enter the server address shown in the Jellyfin dashboard.
4. Sign in with the local user you created on the server.
